e*mpac Human Resources and Financials
e*mpac systems are used to perform administrative tasks associated with Human Resource and Financial record management. Users of these applications must be trained and are responsible to access and use these systems in an appropriate and legal manner. All users who log onto these systems must adhere to the UMass Policy on Responsible/Acceptable Use of Computing and Data Resources (Revised Spring 2007).
Human Resources: The Human Resource application is being upgraded and enhanced to better support the UMass system. If you are interested in more information on the upgrade, you can check out the HRDirect Project blog.
Financial's Information: Empac Financial's was upgraded in Spring 2007. New features are still being added.
FAIR Reporting Tool: This new tool has been implemented by UMass Boston and UMass Lowell providing easier access to run, view and download PeopleSoft Financial report content.
FAIR (Finance Administration and Institutional Research) requires each user to have a PeopleSoft Finance account, and viewing reporting access.
The FAIR reports will reflect the same data which would be obtained if you ran a report in PeopleSoft Finance Reporting.
